Who we are…
We’re a nondenominational church – that means that we are governed by our own elders, not an outside organization. We’re here to encourage all people to pursue a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Take a look at our links under “About Us” on the menu above to learn more.
What we do…
Perhaps the word “family” best describes the purpose of all Living Stones activities and functions. We believe all God’s people share a common identity in Christ. So, all Living Stones ministries are to express care for God’s people and a desire to share God’s love with others who don’t yet know Him. No program, class or ministry of Living Stones Church will ever be established with the intent of competing with other churches. Also, we will never plan anything simply to ‘boost our numbers’. All programs and ministries have one goal – to serve God as we reach out to the world.
Church Information
Sunday morning worship begins at 9:30am, followed by a time of teaching for the adults and classes for children from birth to fifth grade.
Office hours are held Tuesday through Friday, 9am to noon, and 1 to 4:30pm. The office may be reached at 217.324.4890, or by email at livstone@consolidated.net.
Middle and High School youth meet on Wednesdays at 7pm in the LSC sanctuary.
Common Grounds Coffee Shop:
- 1st Sunday of the month: Big Breakfast 8:30-9:15am
- All other Sundays: Continental Breakfast 8:30-9:15am
- Thursday Mornings: 7-8:30am for fellowship before work
Prayer:
- Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays, 9am – All are invited to meet weekly for prayer in the LSC Counseling Room.
- Mondays 6:30-8pm & Fridays 6:30-8am – Revival Prayer with Angela Baker. Come for as long as you are able.
